MOSCOW CHAMBER CHOIR IN XXI CENTURY
- Choir opened the season 2009-2010 at the Bolshoi Theatre, continuing the cooperation with RNO and M. Pletnev, with Grieg's «Peer Gynt».

Vladimir Minin was one of the winners of the independent prize "Triumph" in the field of literature and art in 2009, whose names were announced in December.

The Choir had an honor to participate in the closing ceremony of the XXI Olympic Games-2010 in Vancouver: the real triumph and grand success was a capella performance of Russian National Anthem. The recitals were given in St.Andrew Cathedral and for special guest of the Russian House, President of the IOC, Jacques Rogge.

In Season 2009-2010 the Choir performed 3 concerts with the unusual combination of poetic words and choral music: «All of us are mourned by our destiny» based on poems of Sergei Yesenin, «Oh, no, life has not bothered me» - the poetry of Pushkin and «War’s unwomanly face» - book of Svetlana Alexievich.

Just after visiting the Festival in the birthplace of Tchaikovsky (Votkinsk and Izhevsk), the Choir took part in a concert «Patriarch invites» in the Summer Residence of the Patriarch. Concerts, devoted to the Victory Day, were held in May. The choir sang for the veterans in the Central House of Architects, in the Hall of Church Assemblies of Christ the Savior, and on May ,9th - at the Luzhniki stadium, where together with Iosif Kobzon performed the famous "Cranes". On May, 25th a charity concert devoted to the Day of Slavic alphabet was held at Children Art School. The last concert of the season 2009-2010 was dedicated to 100 anniversary of famous soviet poet Tvardovsky, where the choir sang 2 works of Schedrin, based on his poems.
